Josh Duggar is allegedly struggling in prison.

Last month, the former 19 Kids and Counting star was found guilty of child pornography charges. He was sentenced to 12 and a half years in prison at the Federal Correctional Institution at Seagoville, Texas.

According to In Touch Weekly, Duggar is struggling to cope with his life in prison.

In fact, the former reality TV star is allegedly fearing for his life. After all, he knows that as a celebrity, he’s an easy target among the other inmates.

What’s worse is that convicted sex offenders typically suffer the same fate in prison. The source said that they are particularly vulnerable to being assaulted or as targets of homicide.

“One sex offender who was locked up there has said he would just go into the yard every day and burst into tears. After all the pain he’s caused, John is finding out what hell is like,” the source said.

Last month, the same tabloid claimed that Duggar is also worried about his marriage to Anna Duggar ending while he’s in prison.

A source claimed that Anna’s family and friends are urging her to leave her husband because of all the pain and trouble he’s caused.

“She stood by him for 14 years because of her faith and her belief in redemption. But he’s completely failed her and turned her life and her children’s lives upside down over and over again. Now that he’s going to prison, those close to her are urging Anna to divorce him. Some believe she’s seriously considering it” the source said.

Earlier this year, Duggar’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar were also dragged into his scandal. A source claimed that the two are divided when it comes to their son’s wrongful deeds.

“When confronted privately, Jim Bob is not humble. He is defensive and verbally abusive. Lies are being exposed. Jim Bob’s greed is being exposed, and the family has been destroyed,” the source said.

While it is true that Duggar’s child pornography case affected his family, it’s not true that his parents are being dragged into the scandal.

As of late, there’s also no proof that Duggar has been crying nonstop while in prison or that he’s worried about being targeted by his fellow inmates while he’s there. After all, no one knows for sure what his life is like inside.
