Hugh Jackman, Wife Deborra-Lee Furness Stuck By Nicole Kidman’s Side During Some Of Her Biggest Troubles
Nicole Kidman recently admitted that she owes her life to her good friend and fellow Australian A-lister, Hugh Jackman.
During a recent interview, Kidman also revealed that Jackman and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness allowed her to live with them for a time. And when Kidman got divorced, the couple was so much a part of her healing.
Now, a source told New Idea that Jackman and his wife decided to stick with Kidman throughout the best and worst times of her life. So, the couple’s love for Kidman is reciprocated by the actress.
“Deb knows all Nicole’s secrets, which is why she and Hugh were instrumental in getting her back on her feet after her divorce,” the source said.
Since Jackman and Furness are also adoptive parents, they can relate to Kidman, who adopted two of her kids while she was still married to Tom Cruise.
“Not seeing her children was devastating for Nicole but Deb and Hugh shared in that pain, as they’d just adopted a son, Oscar. It’s so rare to find people you can really trust in this business and Nicole knows she has it with Deb and Hugh. She and Keith feel very lucky,” the source said.
Meanwhile, Kidman also made headlines recently amid claims that her ex-husband, Cruise is struggling to find love and she’s part of the reason why.
According to National Enquirer, Cruise is still traumatized by the fallout of his marriage to Kidman and Katie Holmes.
A source also claimed that the Mission: Impossible actor has become so obsessed with himself to the point that he cannot focus on other people.
“He’s just too weirdly wrapped up being Tom Cruise. Women are intimidated by his over-the-top need to be the biggest star on the planet. It instantly becomes apparent they are just promotional pieces in his carefully constructed image,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. After all, it’s been years since Kidman and Cruise finalized their divorce. So, it’s unlikely for the actor to still be struggling because of it.
As of writing, Kidman and Cruise are not the best of friends but they are not feuding with each other either. After all, they have two adopted kids, Bella and Connor. And they also moved on from each other a long time ago.
