Carrie Underwood, Mike Fisher Not At Crisis Point But Not At Their Best Either, Tabloid Claims
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are allegedly facing some issues in their marriage, but they’re not at a crisis point.
In its July 18 issue, National Enquirer claimed that things haven’t been going well between Underwood and Fisher for quite some time. But the couple is still doing their best to make their marriage work.
“They’re not at crisis point, but they’re not at their best either. And her friends are telling her she needs to focus on her marriage before she heads out on the road,” the source said.
Underwood has a busy schedule ahead. She will be going on tour for seven months starting in October. And when she returns home, she will immediately up and leave for a series of shows in Las Vegas.
“Work is a huge priority for Carrie. She’s extremely driven but also determined to hang on to her marriage and she’s acknowledged to friends she needs to put in the effort with Mike. They’re making plans for date nights and family time with their boys while figuring out how they’re going to handle her being away for weeks at a time,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that Underwood is begging her husband to join her on tour so that they could still have time with their kids. However, Fisher isn’t allegedly open to the idea.
“The kids are getting older and they need stability and Mike’s not too enthused about living out of a suitcase for seven months,” the source said.
Fisher is allegedly allergic to the idea of joining Underwood on tour because he had a bad experience in 2019. The source claimed that he felt neglected while his wife was busy meeting fans and performing for them.
“Mike ended up feeling very neglected. They were fighting all the time. It was really hard on their relationship. So, of course, her friends are worried this tour will put their marriage in jeopardy again. But they’re committed to trying to work things out,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. As of late, there’s no proof that Underwood’s tours have been causing problems in her marriage. And it’s not also true that Fisher refuses to accompany his wife on tour. After all, he already joined Underwood at least once before.
