Brad Pitt Follows In Sandra Bullock’s Footsteps And Retires From Hollywood?
Brad Pitt was allegedly so inspired by Sandra Bullock after the actress announced that she was taking a break from acting that he decided to follow in her footsteps.
A source told In Touch Weekly that fans of Pitt have not seen him on the big screen or even on the small screen for quite some time. And there haven’t also been any reports about Pitt’s upcoming project.
During his interview with GQ, Pitt said that he’s already in his final leg as an actor. After all, he’s been in the industry for many years.
A source claimed that over the past couple of years, Pitt has also become more introspective that’s why he knows that he only has a few more years left to focus on his passions.
Pitt wants to focus on his children, his art, and his business at the Chateau Miraval while he still has the time. And he also wants to free himself from his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie.
“He thinks Angie’s trying to destroy everything he’s built there, and Brad wants to put all of his energy into saving it,” the source said.
As for Bullock, the actress allegedly decided to quit Hollywood because she’s burned out and hasn’t been doing well for so long.
“Sandra has been struggling for a while. She’s been overwhelmed with work while also dealing with pretty severe post-traumatic stress. She knew she had to make big changes in order to truly heal, which meant quitting Hollywood and being with her family, who come first,” the source said.
Unlike Pitt, Bullock has someone to lean on every time she struggles. She is still with her longtime partner, Bryan Randall.
“He’s been her tower of strength and an amazing father to her children. She wants to be truly present for all of their activities as a family instead of having to constantly check business emails or read scripts,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Pitt isn’t quitting Hollywood and neither is Bullock.
The actress simply said that she was taking a break from acting because she was feeling burnt out. However, taking a break and quitting the industry for good are two very different things.
For now, Pitt and Bullock won’t be seen in new projects because they are also busy with other things.
