To mark the special date, the two artists paid each other sweet tributes on social media. Using their respective official Instagram accounts, they penned touching notes, alongside snaps and clips from their wedding day.
The “Cool” singer posted a video montage, featuring her and her husband from a year ago. The material comes with a background track, which is set to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling In Love.”
In the caption, Stefani wrote, “1 year down, forever to go.” She tagged her husband’s official feed before including a red heart emoji.
The post has since received more than 340,000 likes and views. It has also obtained over 4,000 comments, most of which are congratulatory notes for the celebrity pair.
Blake Shelton, for his part, uploaded a photo of him and his wife in their wedding looks. In the caption, he wrote, “Happy anniversary to the woman that makes my world go around.”
The “God’s Country” singer continued that because of Gwen Stefani, “this year has been the best year of [his] life.” He concluded the post, saying, “I love you,” and “Thank you for saying yes.”
The artist’s sweet tribute to the "Hollaback Girl" singer has amassed nearly 126,000 likes. More than 1,800 comments have also surfaced on the post, and most of them are greetings from fans and followers.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton officially tied the knot on July 3, 2021, nearly a year after she accepted her partner’s marriage proposal. Brides said that the event was an “at-home wedding,” and friends and family members of both sides attended.
The 52-year-old singer shared official photos from the special event two days after the ceremony. Reports said that the snaps gave fans and followers glimpses into the details of the nuptials.
Shelton and Stefani decided to exchange vows at the former’s Oklahoma ranch. The public would recall that the two celebrities spent most of their time in the area amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The two “Voice” coaches first sparked romance speculations months after their split from their respective partners. But, it was only in November 2015 that a rep for the “No Doubt” artist confirmed the relationship exclusively to Us Weekly.
