Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn face a new set of engagement and wedding speculations.

A source recently alleged that the two celebrities have been “secretly engaged” for months. Moreover, it is claimed that they are currently in the middle of planning their upcoming wedding, according to Metro UK.

Alwyn allegedly proposed to Swift earlier this year, but they decided to keep everything under wraps. It is also added that the singer only dons her sparkler “behind closed doors.”

Following the emergence of the new reports, the publication pointed out that the “Paper Rings” singer and the “Harriet” actor have yet to make official comments. Accordingly, the claims remain as mere rumors and speculations about the two personalities’ relationship.

Reports noted that the engagement and wedding claims involving Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn first surfaced in The Sun. It was after an anonymous insider told them that the pair got engaged “but have no plans to publicly announce it.”

The songstress and her long-time partner only reportedly confided in their “inner circle” about the relationship milestone. As added, they have told only “immediate family and trusted, very old friends,” and they are all “sworn to secrecy.”

The source went as far as to allege that some of Swift’s team members do not even know about the supposed engagement.

Apart from the alleged engagement, there have been claims, as well, regarding a supposed wedding planning. As stated, only a few people have knowledge about the plans.

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn reportedly intend to have a “simple and elegant” event for their special day. It is said that “there most definitely won’t be any Vogue, Rolling Stone, or Hello! magazines” in the occasion.

The same informant continued that the 32-year-old singer and the 31-year-old actor are “very in love” with each other. It is also alleged that “they want their love to stay away from the cameras as much as possible,” adding that “this is just for them.”

Rumors of engagement and wedding are no longer a new thing for Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift. They have faced numerous claims over the years, leading the actor to address it earlier in April, according to Page Six.

The “Last Letter From Your Lover” star told the Wall Street Journal, “If I had a pound for every time I think I’ve been told I’ve been engaged, then I’d have a lot of pound coins.” He later added, “the truth is, if the answer was yes, I wouldn’t say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn’t say.”
