Princess Mary Of Denmark’s Son Prince Christian Dubbed As ‘Party Prince’? Here’s The Truth
Princess Mary of Denmark’s son, Prince Christian has allegedly been dubbed as the “party prince.”
In its July 4 issue, New Idea claimed that the 16-year-old has been following in his dad’s footsteps. After all, Crown Prince Frederik used to spend so much time drinking and hanging out at private bars before he met his wife.
A source claimed that Prince Christian skipped the 18th birthday party of Princess Ingrid Alexandra of Norway because he opted to hang out with his friends from school.
Video from Prince Christian’s outing showed him sitting in front of a table filled with empty alcohol glasses. And the tabloid immediately concluded that he had too much to drink.
The allegations couldn’t have come at a worse time because Prince Christian’s school was just accused of having a culture of bullying and violence in a documentary.
And at the end of the line is Princess Mary who is allegedly the one receiving all the blows left and right.
“It’s a particularly bitter pill for Mary to swallow as she has always championed anti-bullying,” the source said.
In fact, Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik released a statement to address the bullying and violence allegations.
“Bullying, violence, and abuse are never acceptable. We are the parents of a son who is very happy to go to school. And a daughter who has long been looking forward to starting in the same place. As a family, we need more knowledge to be able to make the right decision for our children,” they said.
However, it is unclear what Prince Christian’s alleged drinking has got to do with the bullying and violence scandal. By the looks of it, the tabloid is just linking the two issues to make it seem as though there’s a problem when there’s none.
Meanwhile, Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary agreed to pull out their son from his current school amid allegations of bullying and violence.
According to People, the couple released a statement saying that they were deeply shaken by the findings released by the National Agency for Education and Quality.
The couple also confirmed that their daughter will no longer enroll at The Herlufsholm School.
“During the summer, we, together with our children, will make a decision about their future choice of schools. With thoughts about the many students who will continue at Herlufsholm, it is our hope that the school now gets more peace to ensure the necessary changes and succeeds in creating a culture in which all thrive and feel safe,” they said.
