Prince William is reportedly determined to heed all the lessons he’s learned throughout his life now that he’s 40 years old.

In its July 4 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Prince William wants to make the most out of his age. After all, he sees being 40 as an important milestone.

And one of the things he wants to perfect is being able to balance his family and duty especially now that he’s busier compared to the past.

“Turning 40 has really resonated with Prince William. He sees it as a new chapter in his life, and he’s determined to heed the lessons he’s learned up until now. The biggest one? Balancing family and duty. As he takes on more royal responsibilities from the queen, William is not only trying to repair his fractured relationship with his brother, but he’s also moving his wife and kids to a new home,” the source said.

The source added that Prince William is determined to make his marriage to Kate Middleton work out. After all, the couple almost ended up divorcing following an alleged cheating scandal that rocked the palace three years ago.

At the time, Prince William was accused of cheating on Middleton with their good friend, Rose Hanbury. However, the rumors were never proven to be accurate but reporters just stopped publishing the dubious claims after the Duke of Cambridge’s lawyer threatened to sue them.

“Kate was heartbroken that William couldn’t do anything to stop the rumors from becoming public. It was humiliating for her, and it took years for them to move past it. Now, they make sure they talk through their issues because they both agree that open communication and transparency are key to maintaining a healthy relationship,” the source said.

On top of all this, Prince William is also preparing for the day when he would finally ascend the throne.

“William has a lot of bold ideas about how the royal family needs to change with the times. Not only does he share his father’s passion for protecting the environment, but his recent tour of the Caribbean with Kate highlighted the need for his family to acknowledge their problematic past in the former colonies, which he will address if Charles doesn’t,” the source said.

But as exciting as these plans may sound, there’s no truth to them.
