Britney Spears’ family is allegedly bitter over the singer’s decision not to invite them to her wedding.

In its June 20 issue, Closer UK claimed that Spears has been estranged from her family throughout the past couple of months. So, they weren’t really surprised that the “Toxic” singer didn’t send them an invitation to attend her wedding.

However, they haven’t also shied away from telling their other relatives and friends that they do not support Spears and Sam Asghari’s relationship. In fact, they allegedly dislike the latter.

“Her family is taking bets among each other about how long it’ll be before it all ends in tears,” the source said.

And when it came to Spears’ actual wedding, the source said that the ceremony was filled with drama because the singer had a mental breakdown.

“She had some wobbles a couple of weeks ago as this was such a momentous occasion for her and there were so many emotions wrapped into it – especially after breaking free of the conservatorship. It got to the point where she was wondering whether to call it off. But Sam has been a rock, insisting that she must look to the future and encouraging her by promising the ‘best day of her life,’” the source said.

Spears also had to deal with her ex-husband attending her wedding even though he wasn’t invited. According to the source, this caused a delay in the ceremony so some of the guests became upset.

“Everyone was shocked and it threw the wedding schedule way behind. Britney and Sam spent the majority of the day apart but once he heard about Jason, he wanted to console Britney,” the source said.

While it is true that Spears’ ex-husband tried to gatecrash her wedding, it’s not true that he succeeded.

It’s not also true that Spears suffered a mental breakdown days before her big day. And it’s even more untrue than Spears’ family dislikes Asghari. After all, they have not bonded with him.

By the looks of it, the tabloid is just making up these lies about Spears and Asghari as a means of attacking the couple. And it also seems that the tabloid is the one that doesn’t support the couple’s marriage.

At the end of the day, it is important to note that Spears and Asghari have been together for years. And it was the right time for them to seal the deal.
