Prince Charles Adores Prince Louis Because He Reminds Him Of Prince Harry, Rumors Claim
Prince Charles recently showed the entire world how close he is to his grandson, Prince Louis.
While at the queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Prince Louis acted out and Kate Middleton struggled to control him. So, Prince William came up with a brilliant idea of making Prince Louis sit on Prince Charles’ lap.
The future king and Prince Louis were spotted smiling as the former rocked the latter on his lap. They also smiled from ear to ear during the sweet moment.
Now, a source told New Idea that Prince Charles has always been close to his three grandchildren. But he shares a special bond with the youngest Cambridge kid because Prince Louis reminds him of Prince Harry.
“Charles was pretty tickled by that as he loves Louis. He’s had lots of practice wrangling cheeky little boys thanks to Prince Harry, who was similarly naughty when he was 4 years old. Charles often remarks that George is like seeing William as a child all over again, and Louis is Harry. Having Louis around has been just the tonic for Charles, who’s devastated at how it’s all gone wrong with Harry, but there’s a sense he’s getting another chance with his grandson,” the source said.
The source also said that the heir to the throne adores Prince Louis because he makes him laugh hysterically.
“No-one makes Charles laugh like Louis, with his bombastic ways and bursts of energy. Equally, no one can calm Louis down like ‘Grandpa Wales’ can. They have a special bond,” the source said.
Prince Charles is also close to Prince George and Princess Charlotte. In fact, when they were much younger, they used to spend more time with their grandfather. Prince Charles also surprised his grandchildren with the best gifts like a swing and a treehouse.
Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about Archie and Lilibet. Prince Charles's two youngest grandkids with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle live in the United States. As such, Prince Charles isn’t always able to spend time with them.
But he recently had the opportunity to bond with his grandchildren when the Sussexes visited England for the Platinum Jubilee. Prince Charles didn’t attend Lilibet’s first birthday party, but he gifted his granddaughter with a swing set that was similar to what he gave Prince George.
