Meghan Markle continues to receive adoration and love from her fans across the globe. She even reportedly became a social media trend over the weekend because of it.

Geo News said the former actress’s name trended on Twitter Sunday. This comes after fans and followers “expressed solidarity” with her following her and her family’s appearances at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

On the social media platform, several netizens posted pictures of the Duchess of Sussex, alongside commendations in the captions. The publication shared some of it in one of its latest reports.

Based on the reported tweets, one netizen appeared to have urged critics to “keep trashing” Meghan Markle. The user explained that this only makes the former actress “more iconic.”

Some posts also included photos of the Duchess of Sussex, alongside the Duke of Sussex and their two children. The captions read, “look at this lovely family,” with the hashtag, using the former royal’s name.

In a different tweet, a user appears to have quoted Patrick J Adams, who was the former star’s on-screen partner on “Suits.” The actor reportedly stated, “Find someone else to admonish, berate, and torment. My friend Meghan is way out of your league.” 

The waves of praise toward Meghan Markle are said to have come after criticisms became apparent on media platforms. It is claimed that the former working royal received negative remarks after her and Prince Harry’s recent return to the United Kingdom.

But, despite this, some experts allegedly commended the Sussex couple for “keeping their promise” during the historical celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II. A separate report from Geo News noted that it was about the pair not stealing the spotlight from the British Monarch.

As explained, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex kept a low profile during the Platinum Jubilee events. Although they attended some of the engagements, it is stated that they “stayed below the radar.”

Meanwhile, a royal author recently told the “Royally Us” podcast that the British Royal Family was “callous” toward Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. As asserted, they all could have “mended fences,” but “it was an unmitigated disaster.”

Express UK reported that Christopher Anderson made the assertions during a recent episode of the podcast. He claimed the “whole world was watching and waiting to see if fences would be mended” during the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s return.

The expert, however, believes that the former working royals were “meticulously choreographed in every instant to be sidelined and marginalized.” He added that if the royal-born Prince flew to his home country hoping to mend fences, “that did not happen.”
