Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are allegedly planning to return to the royal fold.

In its June 20 issue, Star claimed that Prince Harry and Markle used the queen’s Platinum Jubilee as the perfect opportunity to repair their relationship with the royal family. After all, the Sussexes plan to return to their royal duties officially in the coming months.

Even though Prince Harry and Markle’s decision to quit The Firm in 2020 seemed final, the couple allegedly had a change of heart after realizing how difficult life is in the United States.

The couple has been given lucrative deals and work opportunities in America, but they have failed to deliver. So, it’s only a matter of time before work stops coming in and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are worried.

As such, they are doing some damage control right now and want to make amends with the royals.

“Harry wants to rebuild relationships with his family. The way he sees it, life is too short to bear a grudge, especially with his beloved grandmother growing older. He still loves being in the U.S. But it hasn’t been a cakewalk,” the source said.

The source also claimed that the Duke of Sussex took the initiative to call Prince William and Kate Middleton while he was in Britain earlier this month. And their conversation lasted for 30 minutes.

The Sussexes and the Cambridges are both willing to bury the hatchet. And they are also planning a playdate with their children.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt because it’s the exact opposite of what happened during the queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

More reputable sources confirmed that Prince Harry and Markle didn’t have the opportunity to talk to Prince William and Middleton during their visit. In fact, their children didn’t also have the opportunity to meet their cousins.

After all, the Cambridges traveled to Wales during the Platinum Jubilee to attend an event. And the Sussexes didn’t also finish the entire celebration.

It’s not also true that the Sussexes want to return to their royal duties. They have not expressed any desire to do so. And the only time that they can return is if and when Prince Charles would ask them to help him out when he ascends the throne.
