Kelly Clarkson Allegedly Upset That Her Nemesis Gwen Stefani Is Taking Her Spot On ‘The Voice’
Kelly Clarkson is allegedly upset that her nemesis, Gwen Stefani is taking her spot on The Voice.
In its June 6 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Clarkson was forced to quit The Voice because of schedule conflicts between the reality TV show and her talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.
But to her surprise, her seat on The Voice was given to returning coach, Stefani.
A source claimed that when Clarkson was still on The Voice, she feuded with her fellow coach, Blake Shelton. So, to hear that Shelton’s wife is her replacement made her feel salty.
“Kelly famously feuded with Blake on the show, so the fact that his wife, Gwen, is taking Kelly’s seat… well, she’s not happy about it. But Gwen has made it no secret that she’s wanted back on the show, so she’s thrilled,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that Clarkson thinks Stefani won’t quit The Voice ever again. This means that the American Idol winner will never be able to return to the show.
“If she does and Gwen stays on as coach, expect fireworks!” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.
There’s no proof that Clarkson and Stefani are feuding with each other. And it’s not also true that Clarkson and Shelton feuded while they were both on The Voice.
Clarkson was also the one who decided that she will not return to the upcoming season of The Voice. And her decision was made because she wanted to spend more time with her children.
It’s not true that Clarkson quit The Voice because she didn’t want to work with Stefani. But when she found out that the No Doubt singer would be her replacement, she became even more upset.
By the looks of it, the tabloid is just making up this story to make it seem as though there’s tension between Clarkson and Stefani even when there’s none.
As for Shelton and Stefani, the couple couldn’t be more excited to work together on the hit NBC reality singing competition.
Stefani served as a coach on The Voice for a couple of years before she quit to focus on her other endeavors. And now that her schedule is more flexible, the singer has decided to return to the show.
