Miley Cyrus’s Ex-Boyfriend Cody Simpson Involved In A Love Triangle?
Miley Cyrus’s ex-boyfriend, Cody Simpson is allegedly involved in a love triangle.
In its June 6 issue, New Idea claimed that Simpson and Olympian Kyle Chalmers got into a fight over fellow Olympian, Emma McKeon. And their feud hasn’t been resolved.
“This has everyone talking about our sport for all the wrong reasons. This was supposed to be the trial for team selection for the upcoming Commonwealth Games and next month’s World Championships in Budapest. Instead, it has overshadowed all the great stuff that happened in the pool. The bottom line is Emma broke it off with Kyle last year and is now in a serious relationship with Cody. That should be the end of it, but unfortunately, it looks like it could get worse before it gets better,” the source said.
The source also claimed that Chalmers is struggling to accept the fact that his ex-girlfriend replaced him with Simpson, who is his junior in swimming. What’s worse is that Simpson and McKeon already moved in together.
Another problem is that Chalmers isn’t thrilled to know that Simpson could be selected to join his first Australian team following his impressive butterfly stroke performance.
Chalmer, on the other hand, is still recovering from his injury. And this could prevent him from participating in the upcoming games.
“This is where it gets messy. ‘King Kyle’ as he’s best known is recovering from recent shoulder surgery. Everyone knows he’s a champion freestyler. But at the last minute, Kyle decided he was going to swim butterfly against Cody in the trials. Kyle was clear if he qualified, he wouldn’t be going to Worlds. Cody finished an impressive third, Kyle second, and Matt Temple was first,” the source said.
And just when Australians thought that Simpson would take a spot in the team, they found out that Chalmers will be participating at the Worlds. And this also put Simpson’s international debut on hold.
Despite what happened, the source said that Simpson and McKeon can both lift their heads up high knowing that they did well and that they did their best.
As such, it’s unclear what issue between Simpson and Chalmers the tabloid is talking about. It seems they just made up the swimmers’ feud to make it seem as though there’s an issue even when there’s not.
It’s also important to note that McKeon already moved on from Chalmers.
