Meghan Markle is encouraged to reunite with her dad, Thomas Markle Sr. amid reports that he was rushed to the hospital due to a possible stroke.

Now, a royal expert is claiming that Markle could even use her reunion with her dad as a good PR for her. After all, the Duchess of Sussex continues to receive criticisms from the public.

During a recent interview, royal expert Rafe Heydel-Mankoo said that a reunion between the father and daughter seems inevitable.

“I just think it would be rather good PR for Harry and Meghan to make this gesture now. That will go a long way to healing some of that negativity that there is in this country because we have seen in polls recently that the British public, in the recent polls, 65 percent of them would welcome Thomas Markle here with open arms. Not a similar figure for the duchess,” he said (via Express).

The interviewer asked the royal expert if he thinks that Thomas’s illness could be an actual reason for him and his daughter to reconcile. And Heydel-Mankoo said that this is what royal fans are hoping for. After all, it’s been years since Markle last spoke to her estranged dad.

The royal expert added that this might be the perfect time for Markle and even Prince Harry to show the world that they are like any other human being that has a heart. And they should be the ones to reach out to Thomas.

“We know, very much, from the past how much Meghan doted on her father in her early years, she credited him with bringing her up and it would be if this opportunity went a miss,” the source said.

Meanwhile, there are also some rumors claiming that Thomas may have just faked his illness. After all, some royal fans are convinced that it seems fishy for his photos lying down on a stretcher will be published by different news outlets.

In 2018, Thomas was also involved in a fake photo controversy so royal fans can’t help but link the two together. At the time, the retired lighting director posed for a series of photos ahead of his daughter’s wedding.

Markle and Prince Harry were enraged by what he did so they decided to cut ties with him. Shortly after, Thomas suffered a heart attack and he was unable to attend the couple’s wedding.
