Meghan Markle Criticized Over Public Gesture At Prince Harry’s Polo Match? Here’s The Truth
Meghan Markle recently showed her support for Prince Harry at the latter’s polo match in the United States.
During the outing, the Duchess of Sussex donned a stunning outfit that reportedly gave her a Pretty Woman moment. After all, she wore a huge hat to Prince Harry’s polo match, which paired nicely with her black and white dress.
However, it was Markle’s gestures and body language toward Prince Harry that made headlines following the polo match. Some praised her for being so sweet and affectionate toward her husband, but others were also unimpressed.
Royal commentator Angela Levin slammed the Suits alum for wiping Prince Harry’s face using her bare hands. Levin said that this is something that the Duke of Sussex could do himself.
“Can't get over it. What sort of woman would wipe their husband's face during a public outing when crowds were looking? Wouldn't a quick whisper do to let him it himself? If Netflix had been filming at Meghan and Harry's polo awards ceremony it would have left any audience laughing hysterically,” she said (via Express).
Meanwhile, multiple publications also published a story about the alleged French kiss that Prince Harry and Markle shared after last weekend’s polo match.
According to Elle, Markle also kissed each of Prince Harry’s teammates on the cheek before she kissed her husband on the lips and then wiped off the lipstick on his face.
Following their outing, body language expert Judi James also talked about the couple’s kiss and said that it’s obvious that the couple has a flirty and intimate relationship with each other.
However, their kisses have also become more mature over the years compared to the peck that they exchanged in 2018.
“Their more recent kiss is sweet rather than sexy and it appears restricted by Meghan who uses two hands to steer and control Harry’s face. He leans in but the kiss that is part hidden by her hands looks more like a peck. Her shades, red lipstick, and her wide hat brim make this like a kissing assault course, and even so, Harry gets lipstick on his face. Meghan then openly rubs it off in a more maternal ritual,” James told Express.
The body language expert also said that Prince Harry and Markle’s kiss differ from Prince William and Kate Middleton's because the Cambridges are more practical than passionate.
