Florence Pugh and Will Poulter are not dating. The 26-year-old actress clarified the matter on social media after photos of their recent Ibiza getaway made headlines.

Page Six reported that the “Midsommar” star set the record straight via her Instagram Stories on Tuesday. She released a series of posts to quash the apparent romance rumors between her and her former co-star.

Pugh began by emphasizing that things have become “a little silly” these days. She consequently pointed out that they are “not dating,” adding that they went to the beach with their friends, “who [were] always about a half a meter away” from them in every photo.

Despite being with their pals during the outing, the actress stated that they “have been cleverly cut out/framed out,” making the photos look like she and Will Poulter are alone.

Florence Pugh continued that she understands how celebrities “sometimes get [their] privacy completely bulldozed by paparazzi.” However, fabricating a narrative, like the dating rumors, “does more damage than good.”

She, later on, asserted, “thanks for saying we look sexy.” But, it “does not mean we’re doing the sexy.”

In a separate post, Pugh emphasized a “very important note.” She told her audience that “there is no need to drag people through this.”

The Marvel actress added that regardless of the public’s opinion “on who [she] should or should not be with, at the end of the day, if you are complimenting someone by trolling another person, you are just bullying.”

Photos of Florence Pugh and Will Poulter during their Ibiza trip first surfaced across media platforms on Monday. Reports noted that the getaway happened over the weekend, adding that the images were obtained by the Daily Mail.

The “Black Widow” star shared her own snaps from the outing on her official Instagram account. She published most of the pictures after clarifying that she and the “Maze Runner” actor are not in a relationship.

Florence Pugh is believed to be dating Zach Braff since 2019. Although the two celebrities have never confirmed their relationship directly, they have paid “sweet tributes” to each other at times on social media.

The actress made her most recent one in April to mark the actor’s 47th birthday. It comes about three months after he made his to celebrate her 26th birthday.

Us Weekly recalled that Pugh and Braff first sparked dating speculations in April 2019. It was after their first collaboration for “In the Time it Takes to Get There.”
