Kate Middleton Deemed ‘Stabilizing Influence’ In British Royal Family, Monarchy
Kate Middleton has become one of the most “popular royal figures” in the last decade. This is despite the apparent criticisms she faced in the first few years of her marriage to the British Royal Family and the monarchy.
Royal expert Marlene Koenig recently spoke to Express UK and talked about the future Queen Consort. She stated that the wife of the future King is a “calm” and “stabilizing influence” on the British Royals, especially with her husband.
As explained, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have managed to attract the public’s attention and heart by sharing “glimpses” into their royal lives. It is also noted that they are “willing to share some family moments” with the rest of their audience.
Despite this, Koenig asserted that Kate Middleton and Prince William had not had any “real scandals” over the years. They continue to do their “business representing the Queen” and “taking on more responsibilities.”
Elsewhere in the conversation with the publication, the royal expert recalled that she was one of the people who voiced concerns and criticisms toward the Duchess of Cambridge during her first years in the royal Firm. She argued, however, that “now with hindsight,” she sees “it was a good idea.”
Koenig continued that everyone in the British Royal Family, from Queen Elizabeth II to Prince Charles, was “supportive” of the future Queen Consort. For her, this has allowed the wife of Prince William to find her “role,” “voice,” and “passions for her growing number of patronages.”
Kate Middleton officially became a member of the British Royal Family and the British Monarchy when she tied the knot with Prince William in 2011. She has since lived the royal life, serving the public and representing the British Monarch.
With her continued love, effort, and dedication, she has become “one of the most loved members” of the Royal Firm, according to Hello! magazine. It also noted that she has the “closest bond” with her royal in-laws, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles.
Apart from the support and admiration of the British Royal Family, Kate Middleton has also since obtained the hearts and love of the public. In the last few years, she has maintained her position as one of the most popular British Royals.
The Week reported earlier this year that the Duchess of Cambridge was up seven percentage points from her last popularity ratings. She now has 34 percent rating, making her the second most popular royal, next to the British Monarch.
