Tom Cruise allegedly insists on being alone since he’s still dealing with the trauma caused by his ex-wife, Katie Holmes.

In its May 23 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Cruise is one of the most handsome actors in Hollywood. So, it has never been a challenge for him to find a girlfriend.

But a source said that the actor is staying single by choice because he’s worried that his next relationship would also end in divorce.

“Katie broke his heart, so he’s avoided romance ever since. Behind that big, bright smile is someone who is very lonely,” the source said.

The source also claimed that Cruise’s divorce from Holmes has left him feeling shy. He doesn’t want to get to know women even if they are introduced to him by his closest celebrity friends.

The Mission: Impossible actor has also been in two other divorces so he thinks that he might not be very lucky when it comes to love and relationships.

According to the source, Cruise tried to date someone months ago and it was none other than Cynthia Jorge.

“Tom seemed to be in his own world, completely smitten. But then she blew him off when he asked her out again. So, the hits keep coming. Tom combats his loneliness by working 24/7. The Mission: Impossible films and Top Gun: Maverick has been his sole interest in recent years – or more like obsessions. Tom needs real love in his life again. He just needs to put himself out there and trust that he won’t get burned again,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

As of late, there’s no indication that Cruise is leading a lonely life. And there are a lot of reasons why the actor is still single.

It’s unclear why the tabloids are urging Cruise to get into a relationship when it’s obvious that he’s not ready to be in one.

And it’s also inaccurate to put all the blame on Holmes and Cruise’s other ex-wives. After all, the actor also had a hand in his divorces.

As of late, Cruise is busy with his career. And he was recently photographed chatting with Queen Elizabeth at a horse show. This shows that he’s a dedicated actor and personality and is also very happy with his choices.
