Scott Disick Spends Time With Son As Ex Kourtney Kardashian Marries Travis Barker
Scott Disick has broken his silence on social media on the day news broke that Kourtney Kardashian legally married Travis Barker. On Instagram, he posted a series of photos, featuring himself and his son.
Geo News said that the reality star was with his youngest son, whom, along with two more children, he shares with the Poosh founder. As claimed, they were hanging out poolside in the backyard of his mansion in Hidden Hills, California.
The post, which has amassed over 102,000 likes on the platform, comes with a single line caption. Disick wrote, “Just me and my boy.”
Apart from the uploaded photo, the Talentless founder also shared videos of the “adorable” quality time in the platform’s “Story” feature.
Kris Jenner was reportedly the first person to “shower love” on Scott Disick and his seven-year-old son shortly after publishing the posts.
The celebrity’s recent updates on Instagram emerged hours after news broke that Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian legally married in a courthouse. TMZ was first to cover the story, according to People.
As reported, “a few close friends and family members” were in attendance at the private ceremony. It took place in Santa Barbara earlier on Sunday, with some sources saying that Mary Jo “MJ” Campbell, the grandmother of the Kardashian siblings, served as a witness.
An informant consequently told the publication that Barker and Kardashian “had to legally get married first” before their planned “big Italian wedding.” It is also noted that the details are already set and “the whole family, including all the kids, are very excited.”
The celebrity couple, who first had a “practice wedding” earlier in April, have yet to make an official statement regarding the relationship milestone. Similarly, their respective family members, including Scott Disick, have remained tight-lipped.
The father of Kourtney Kardashian’s children previously made headlines after declaring he would “always love” his former partner. The statements went public after an episode of “The Kardashians” aired on Hulu.
The International News noted that the filming of the material took place in October, days after Travis Barker proposed to his now-wife. As it happened, Khloe Kardashian visited Scott Disick to check up on him and ask how he felt about his ex’s engagement.
The “Flip It Like Disick” star told the aunt of his children that he “was not caught off guard.” He stated that he would “always love” Khloe’s sister before adding he thought Kourtney and Travis “were already married the way she was talking.”
In the end, the father of three emphasized that “it does give [him] a relief that [Kourtney] is happy, and somebody else is taking care of her.”
