Meghan Markle allegedly told a small group of friends that she wrote a diary about her experiences and feelings with the royal family.

Now, one of the Duchess of Sussex’s so-called pals shared details from their private correspondence. According to In Touch Weekly, Markle felt that the royal family threw her to wolves when they refused to protect her from the media’s scrutiny.

Prince Harry’s wife also allegedly singled out Kate Middleton in her diary. The Suits alum claimed that the Duchess of Cambridge refused to talk to her for weeks despite her effort to be nice to her.

The pal also claimed that Markle and Middleton’s rumored feud during Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress fitting is also documented in the former’s diary.

As of late, more details from Markle’s private diary have yet to be released. But royal author Andrew Morton said that once it is released, it would be an interesting read for royal fans.

After all, the Duchess of Sussex is a good writer, and she also has a nice turn of phrase. Markle studied English at Northwestern College years before she met Prince Harry.

Morton also said that releasing Markle’s diary would provide her with the perfect opportunity to tell her story with absolute control.

Before Prince Harry and Markle quit the royal family, there have been claims that the latter isn’t pleased with all the rules and protocols that she needs to follow. In fact, the Sussexes weren’t allowed to hold interviews, appear in shows, write articles, and the like that aren’t approved by the royal family.

As such, when they announced their bombshell exit in January, they said that they want to be independent of the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also wanted to be financially independent of Prince Harry’s relatives.

However, the claims made by the tabloid haven’t been confirmed or denied by Markle. It is unlikely for one of her close friends to expose details from her private diary. And it seems even more unlikely for Markle to share her private diary with other people.

Throughout the past couple of years, Markle’s friends have been very protective of her. In fact, every time they are asked to comment on the Duchess of Sussex, they try to avoid the topic.

Serena Williams even went as far as convincing the public that she’s feuding with Markle when she told the interviewer that she doesn’t know anything about the latter.
