Kourtney Kardashian “hysterically” cried after she accidentally stepped on her engagement ring and broke it. She even told her mother that it gave her a “nervous breakdown.”

Cosmopolitan said that the revelation came in the new episode of “The Kardashians.” The scene shows Kris Jenner asking her eldest daughter about the “missing” engagement band from her ring finger.

The Poosh founder shared that they were getting it “fixed” due to an accident. She described the moment as “probably one of the worst things” she has ever done in her life.

Kourtney Kardashian went on to share the details of what happened with the estimated $1 million engagement ring from Travis Barker. She recalled that she was sitting on the floor as she was folding some clothes.

While doing the chore, she said she took her ring off and put it next to her on the floor. She thought “it would be safe right next to [her],” but it was not when she stood up.

Kardashian stated that she stepped down and stepped on the massive sparkler. She consequently told Kris Jenner that she was crying in her closet for hours before calling her fiance, telling him she “did something really bad.”

The reality star also asserted that it gave her a “nervous breakdown,” adding that she could not believe what had happened. “This is the most beautiful thing that I have ever had in my life… how could I have done that?”

Travis Barker collaborated with Lorraine Schwartz to create the unique, “one-of-a-kind engagement ring” for Kourtney Kardashian. The famed celebrity jeweler even gave People some insight into the creation, according to Page Six.

She revealed that the band features a “flawless, beautifully cut diamond stone.” She also stated that the Blink-182 drummer “was a really big part of” the work, adding that “he was really hands-on in the whole making of it.”

Speaking to the reputed publication, Mike Fried of The Diamond Pro gave his estimations regarding the price of the engagement ring. He asserted that it “looks to be larger than 15 carats in a pavé or hidden halo setting,” which he valued at $1 million.

Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney Kardashian in October 2021. The reality accepted the proposal, leading to their official engagement.

It remains unclear when the pair began their romantic ties. But, they have been close friends already for years, even reportedly neighbors.

The dating speculations seemingly emerged, though, earlier last year. Barker and Kardashian have since continued to display their affection for each other before the public.
