Yolanda Hadid allegedly became upset after she found out that her daughter, Gigi Hadid has been secretly hooking up with Zayn Malik.

In its May 16 issue, Life & Style claimed that Yolanda didn’t think that Gigi and Malik would do something like this behind her back.

Gigi and Malik split months ago after they were involved in an altercation. At that time, a restraining order was filed against the former One Direction member so that he couldn’t be with his daughter without the Hadids with them.

Now, a source claimed that the exes have forgiven each other. But Yolanda couldn’t accept that this was the case.

“Yolanda totally lost it. She can’t believe Gigi is back with Zayn. It’s the ultimate betrayal. Yolanda’s home became a meeting point for them. Gigi brings Zayn to see Khai and sometimes, he stays in the guesthouse there,” the source said.

The insider claimed that it took Gigi quite some time to convince her mom to allow Malik into her home. And she finally agreed to it because Yolanda realized that regardless of what happened, he will always be the father of her grandchild.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

There’s no proof that Gigi and Malik got back together. In fact, the model recently shared what she learned after her split from the singer.

She told InStyle that she realized the importance of making every minute count. After all, we’re all on borrowed time.

“I’ve been reminded that when we get time with people, just really appreciate it and take it all in and try not to wish away moments. Even if there’s something hard, find something beautiful in it,” the source said.

As of writing, Malik has been mum about his relationship with his baby mama and his daughter, Khai. But following the altercation, he was placed on 360-day probation after pleading no contest to the charges filed against him by Yolanda.

The British singer has not also been making public appearances as of late. He is busy attending anger management sessions and making music.

As for Yolanda, she has not commented on the alleged altercation after she filed a complaint. So, it’s unclear if she and Malik have already resolved their issues.
