Kate Middleton, Prince William Advised To Be ‘Cautious’ During Harry, Meghan's Brief Visit
There is reportedly a possibility that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will try to get the spotlight during the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. This has led an expert to urge Prince William and Kate Middleton to be “cautious.”
Express UK reported that the claims came from royal biographer, Tom Bower, who spoke to The Sun regarding the matter. He stated that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will likely “worry” upon the arrival of the Sussex couple in the United Kingdom.
He then pointed out that it “would be foolish” for Prince William and Kate Middleton “not to be suspicious.” He added that it would also be “unwise not to be cautious.”
Bower’s statements come after a spokesperson for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle confirmed the pair’s attendance at Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in the United Kingdom. The official statement also revealed that the former working royals will fly to the country, along with their two children.
The Sussexes’ announcement on May 6 emerged after Buckingham Palace released an official announcement about the traditional balcony appearance at the Trooping the Color. It clarified which members of the British Royal Family will participate in the event.
The message read, “after careful consideration,” the balcony appearance “will be limited” to the Queen and royals “who are currently undertaking official public duties on behalf of the [British Monarch].” This means that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, as well as Prince Andrew, will not take part.
Accordingly, the only members of the British Royal Family who will appear at the balcony during the Trooping the Color, apart from Queen Elizabeth II, are Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton. Prince Edward, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Princess Anne, and Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence will also join them for the traditional event.
The British Monarch’s cousins will also be present. These include the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Princess Alexandra, and the Duke of Kent.
Meanwhile, on the day of the official announcements, members of the British Royal Family shared their warm greetings for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s firstborn son. Their eldest child turned three that day.
Prince William and Kate Middleton took their birthday greeting to social media. They posted a photo using their official accounts, although they utilized the same picture that they shared last year for the same occasion.
Apart from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Charles, and Queen Elizabeth II also shared their respective greetings for the young Sussex royal.
