Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation lawsuit is still ongoing.

Earlier this week, a judge ruled in favor of Depp after Heard asked to throw out the defamation lawsuit.

Some people also took the stand to testify against Heard and Depp. And the actress’s psychiatrist claimed that she suffers from PTSD because of her ex-husband.

Depp’s doctor, on the other hand, insisted that Heard doesn’t have PTSD. But the Aquaman star could reportedly have some personality disorders.

In its May 9 issue, Us Weekly claimed that Depp and Heard both want to make sure that they would win the case.

“Both Johnny and Amber have been adamant from the start that they will fight this with everything they’ve got. It means so much to each of them to come out on top at all costs. Depp is convinced that the only way he can restore his reputation is to prove to the world that Amber is lying,” the source said.

Heard, on the other hand, wants to prove to the world that she’s a domestic violence survivor. And the actress also wants to clear her name.

“At this point, there’s no hope for compromise or forgiveness. Their egos and desire for revenge have outweighed everything else. The fear now is that their only lasting achievement will be to have destroyed each other,” the source said.

On Wednesday, Heard took to the stand to testify against her ex-husband. The actress was photographed crying as she recounted the harrowing abuse that she allegedly suffered in Depp’s hands.

Heard claimed that Depp’s abuse started after she asked about what was written on one of his tattoos. And when the Pirates of the Caribbean actor replied that it’s “Wino,” Heard laughed.

Depp reportedly became upset with Heard that’s why he slapped her on the face.

However, Depp also testified against Heard early on in the trial and said that he never laid his hand on his ex-wife. In fact, the actor also claimed that Heard was the abuser in their relationship.

Heard also said that she stayed with Depp even after the abuse happened because she wanted to believe that he meant his apologies.

There was also a time wherein Depp reportedly ripped Heard’s dress and searched her because he was convinced that his ex-wife was hiding his drugs from him.
