Kate Middleton allegedly decided to cut ties with her mom, Carole Middleton.

In its May 9 issue, Star claimed that Middleton is sick and tired of her mom cashing in on her royal connections. The Duchess of Cambridge doesn’t also want her mom to keep getting into her personal business.

“Carole is a very pushy mother. Kate finally had to tell her to back off,” the source said.

The source claimed that the tensions between the Duchess of Cambridge and Carole started during the early days of the pandemic.

At the time, Middleton allegedly asked Carole to help take care of her children so that she could focus on her royal duties. But during the lockdown, the mom of three allegedly realized that there’s still so much that she could do while her children are around.

“It was the first time in Kate’s life that she got to be with George, Charlotte, and Louis full-time. The Duchess of Cambridge embraced every minute of it and realized she can do without her bossy mother trying to take over,” the source said.

But Carole couldn’t allegedly take no for an answer. Even after Middleton told her that she can take care of her kids, Carole still kept showing up outside her home because she wants to hang out with her grandchildren.

It allegedly reached a point wherein Middleton is on a Zoom call or she’s busy homeschooling the kids and then Carole would just show up.

“She’d walk into the house like she owned the place and try to take over the homeschooling and tell Kate how to dress the kids. It irritated William to no end. William didn’t want Carole there at night after the kids were put to bed. It’s the only quality time he gets to spend with his wife,” the source said.

To make things worse, Carole allegedly urged Middleton to give her and Princess Charlotte some solo time during the weekends. After all, the 7-year-old adores her grandmother. However, the Duchess of Cambridge said no.

As of late, there’s no indication that Carole is intruding into Prince William and Middleton’s personal lives. And it’s not also true that her own daughter decided to cut ties with her because she’s too pushy.

By the looks of it, this is just the tabloid’s way of concocting stories about the mother and daughter duo for clickbait purposes.
