Angelina Jolie has not allegedly spoken to her brother, James Haven in years.

In its May 9 issue, Globe claimed that Jolie and Haven drifted apart shortly after they made headlines at the Oscars 22 years ago.

At the time, Jolie and Haven were photographed kissing each other on the lips. And a lot of people were grossed out by their actions.

However, Jolie defended her decision to kiss her brother by saying that they are very close.

Unfortunately, a source claimed that the relationship between the siblings changed over time. Now, they barely talk to each other. And they have not also seen each other in a long time.

“James clams up whenever anyone asks him what happened between him and Angie, why he doesn’t see her anymore. It’s a real sore spot for him. She’s pretty much turned her back on him after he did everything he could to help her through her divorce,” the source said.

The insider claimed that Haven helped Jolie amid her ongoing divorce battle with Pitt by looking after his nieces and nephews.

“But then things went sour because he didn’t totally agree with her on every little thing. He’s always been devoted, but he’s also not a yes man,” the source said.

According to the source, Jolie and Haven got into an argument after the latter gave the former his two cents about her ongoing custody battle. Unfortunately, the Maleficent star didn’t like what her brother said and decided to cut ties with him.

“He’s gone from being the kids’ nanny to almost never seeing them. It’s very sad. James still won’t say a bad word about her. He’s loyal to her to the end,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

As of late, there’s no proof that Jolie and Haven had a falling out. And there are also a lot of reasons why the two haven’t been photographed together.

There’s also no proof that Haven gave Jolie some advice on her custody battle and that it upset the actress.

Jolie and Haven remain close to this day. In fact, she previously professed her love for her brother.

“I’m in shock and I’m so in love with my brother right now. He just held me and said he loved me, and I know he’s so happy for me. And, um, thank you for that,” she said following their controversial kiss," she said.
