More than six months have passed since Travis Barker popped the question to Kourtney Kardashian. But, more shocking details about the proposal have continued to surface, like the artist asking for permission from the late Robert Kardashian Sr. at his grave.

People reported that the latest information emerged during Thursday's episode of the family’s new reality series, “The Kardashians,” on Hulu. Kris Jenner recalled what happened before the engagement and told Kim Kardashian some of the details.

She said that Barker telephoned her to ask for her blessing. She, then, revealed that the Blink-182 drummer had gone out of his way to also ask the late Kardashian Sr. before proposing.

Jenner deemed the move “sweet and so tender.” She stated, as well, that she “lost it” upon learning about him going to her former husband’s grave to ask for permission.

The family matriarch, later on, added that “it is all happy.” She consequently shared her wish that Kourtney Kardashian’s father was there to witness it.

In the last week’s episode of “The Kardashians,” a different revelation came into light regarding the proposal. It even moved Khloe Kardashian to tears when Travis Barker made the confession, according to The International News.

As it happened, there is a reason why the artist chose the date, October 17, to propose to Kourtney Kardashian. He explained that “the 17th is the first day [he and Kourtney] ever hung out,” adding that he had told Kris Jenner about him being “madly in love with Kourtney forever.”

Barker continued that the eldest of the Kardashian-Jenner siblings is his “soulmate.” He, then, emphasized that he would like to pop the question to her “on the day that [he] first was with her.”

The Good American founder broke into tears after learning about the move. She said she is “so happy” because her older sister is “going to be so happy.”

The plant went well, and Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney Kardashian on October 17. They officially got engaged on the same day as the reality star accepted the proposal.

The celebrity couple, as well as some of the Kardashian-Jenner siblings, shared photos and clips from the special event. As seen on the materials, the proposal took place on the beach, with them being surrounded by red roses and candles.
