Jennifer Garner was allegedly blindsided by Ben Affleck’s decision to propose to Jennifer Lopez.

In its May 2 issue, Life & Style claimed that Garner has never been a fan of Lopez. So, hearing that the latter would soon wed her ex-husband left Garner feeling a bit upset.

“She was blindsided by the proposal news. The two Jennifers don’t see eye to eye, and Jen is concerned flashy J.Lo will blow through all of Ben’s money. She’s even asked him to get a prenup to protect his assets in the event things don’t work out so that J.Lo at least can’t bleed him dry then. It’s for the sake of their children,” the source said.

The source added that Garner has some concerns over Lopez turning into a bridezilla. The mom of three was told that Lopez wants an extravagant wedding with gold-plated invites, fireworks, a Michelin-star chef, and more. She has already turned into a bit of a bridezilla.

“J.Lo won’t play favorites. She’s adamant about her and Ben’s children all having important roles on the big day. She’d love for Violet and Seraphina to be her bridesmaids and Samuel a ring bearer,” the source said.

However, Garner isn’t allegedly having it. In fact, she doesn’t have any plans to attend the couple’s wedding even if she scores an invitation.

“She isn’t jumping at the chance to attend herself, either. Jen wouldn’t even feel comfortable being in the same room as J.Lo. Ben and J.Lo are committed to making it down the aisle this time. The wedding may take place as early as the summer,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

As of late, there’s no proof that Garner was blinded by Affleck’s proposal. And since it’s been years since the exes divorced, it’s unlikely for Garner to still be affected by her ex-husband’s decision.

It’s not also true that Garner dislikes Lopez or thinks that she’s a bit too much compared to her. The A-listers previously hung out and the fact that Lopez is able to spend time with Garner’s children proves that there’s no problem between them.

By the looks of it, the tabloid is just making up this story to make it seem as though there’s an issue between Garner, Affleck, and Lopez even when there’s none.
