Queen Elizabeth Allegedly Uses A Mobility Chair But Doesn’t Want Royal Fans To See Her Looking Weak
Queen Elizabeth has allegedly been using a mobility chair to help her get around.
In its May 2 issue, Globe claimed that the queen has been going back and forth between her mobility chair and walking stick depending on how she feels on a certain day.
But a source said that as much as possible, the queen doesn’t want to be seen using her mobility chair or her walking stick because it shows her weakness.
“The queen doesn’t want to show any weakness to the public, especially with the scandalous shame her son Prince Andrew and grandson Harry have brought on the monarchy,” the source said.
The insider said that the royal family has been receiving low blows from their critics in recent months. And even Prince Harry and Meghan Markle once accused the British clan of racism. So, the queen is just doing her share to not add any more controversies to their family.
“The last thing the queen wants is for people to see her so weakened she needs a wheelchair or scooter to get around. The monarchy desperately needs to look solid now and the queen is determined to show her strength,” the source said.
Royal author Robert Jobson also weighed in on the queen’s deteriorating health. He said that the queen uses her walking stick when she can move about more freely. But on days when her movements are limited, she prefers using her walking stick.
“It comes down to mobility. Sometimes she is more mobile than others. When she can walk with a stick, they make the arrangements accordingly. Other times it’s not so easy,” he said.
While it is true that the queen’s health and physical abilities are deteriorating because of her age, there’s no proof that she doesn’t want to show weakness to the public.
Since Her Majesty is already 96 years old, it’s not surprising for her movements to already be limited. And by the looks of it, royal fans and even her critics won’t use this against her.
It is also unclear why the tabloid linked the queen’s difficulties in movement with the scandals involving Prince Andrew and Prince Harry. After all, the two disgraced royals do not have anything to do with the queen’s difficulty in moving around.
By the looks of it, the tabloid just used Prince Andrew and Prince Harry for clickbait.
