Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are reportedly planning to have an official ceremony after tying the knot without a marriage license in Las Vegas. But, tensions are said to have become apparent amid their talks over a prenup.

The claims came from a source, who spoke with OK! magazine. As alleged, the Poosh founder “brought up the prenup” after their nuptials in Sin City, and things are not “smooth sailing.”

The matter has allegedly “created some tension in their otherwise idyllic romance.” While the reality star “loves the spontaneity” of her relationship with the Blink-182 drummer, “she is, also, very wise, and knows she should have a prenup.”

The same insider continued that Kourtney Kardashian “stands to lose more if they break up.” She is believed to be worth at least $65 million, while Travis Barker is said to be worth around $50 million. Accordingly, “she wants to protect her assets.”

Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner household, allegedly “seems to be playing a role in the prenup discussions.” She is claimed to be “encouraging her eldest daughter to protect her assets,” in consideration of their family’s “prized empire.”

The informant, later on, added that the momager has kept telling her daughter to get a prenup. For her, it is “all about protecting the family’s money.”

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have yet to make any official comment about the matter. The same is, also, true for Kris Jenner and the rest of the family.

In addition, the source did not provide any proof to substantiate the claims. No evidence has come to light to prove the legitimacy of the claims.

Accordingly, this, then, makes the latest assertions about the celebrities speculative at best. Unless otherwise stated, they remain as such.

These all seemingly emerged, though, following Barker and Kardashian’s nuptials in Las Vegas earlier this month. They tied the knot in Sin City hours after their attendance at this year’s Grammys.

The celebrity pair confirmed the news days after the news broke across media platforms. They, also, acknowledged that they did not have a marriage license, making the ceremony legally binding.

Meanwhile, Kourtney Kardashian recently celebrated her 43rd birthday with Travis Barker and their children. People reported that the blended family went to the Happiest Place on Earth at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

The reality star, later on, shared some photos on Instagram, marking the milestone with her family.

Kardashian, a mother of three, turned 43 on April 18.
