Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie Dragged In Prince Andrew’s Latest Fraud Case?
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are being dragged in their dad Prince Andrew’s latest fraud case.
In its April 25 issue, Star claimed that the royal siblings are caught in a scandal involving a Turkish millionaire.
A source alleged that Prince Andrew tried to profit off Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s wedding by accepting a $1 million donation as a gift.
However, the Turkish millionaire claimed that her financial advisor, Selmen Turk donated the money to the Yorks without her permission.
On top of this, Sarah Ferguson is also being accused of accepting a $300,000 payout from the same individual.
“The filing caught Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie completely off-guard. They’re mortified,” the source said.
According to the source, Princess Eugenie became suspicious when a family friend offered to give her $30,000 to help pay for Ferguson’s surprise birthday party in 2019.
In her statement, Princess Eugenie said that she asked the family friend to send the amount directly to the caterers. However, she gave her bank details to her friend and received two deposits.
Princess Eugenie said that she was the one that transferred the payment to the company that organized Ferguson’s 60th birthday party.
However, critics are questioning why Princess Eugenie accepted such a huge offer for Ferguson’s celebration when they are not strapped for cash. They claimed that the only probable reason was that the Yorks are greedy.
The source said that the Yorks are trying to do some damage control after they were linked to the new fraud case. And even though it’s possible that Prince Andrew did something wrong, it’s unlikely for his daughters to turn on him.
“They’re super closet to their dad, which is telling. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” the source said.
As of late, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Prince Andrew, and Ferguson have not yet been convicted of anything. So, there’s still a possibility for the allegations to not be accurate.
It also seems unlikely for the Yorks to be sent to jail over the scandal because Prince Andrew even managed to reach a settlement after he was accused of sexual abuse for years.
The Duke of York initially said that he won’t back down in dealing with the lawsuit that Virginia Roberts Giuffre filed against him. So, it was a shock when he decided to settle with his accuser.
