Shanna Moakler recently revealed her thoughts about the reported wedding of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker in Las Vegas.

Us Weekly said that the artist’s former wife shared an official statement about the shocking event on Tuesday. She congratulated the “happy couple,” adding that she wishes them “the best that life has to offer on their journey together.”

This comes after news broke that Barker and Kardashian decided to tie the knot hours after attending the 64th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday. It is not reportedly clear, however, whether they had a marriage license, which would make the ceremony legal.

People said that the celebrity couple wed at the One Love Wedding Chapel on Monday at 1:45 in the morning. They had the private ceremony wearing the same ensembles they donned at the Grammys hours earlier.

Speaking to the publication, the chapel’s owner, Marty Frierson, revealed that he did not know at first who it was until Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker pulled up. Although he “advertises as 24-hours,” he noted that the pair wanted to ensure he was still at the venue.

The owner continued that the Blink-182 drummer and the reality star “paid and requested Elvis Presley,” adding that the latter was “mandatory.” He, then, recalled calling them back five minutes later, “and there they were.”

Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian may have had their wedding ceremony in Las Vegas earlier this week. But, sources claimed that they are “not technically legally married” yet, according to The International News.

As explained, insiders found out that the ceremony did take place, “but on paper, it is not legal yet.” This comes as the pair have reportedly yet to apply for a marriage certificate.

Amid all the reports and speculations, though, no official word from Kardashian and Barker, as well as their respective families, has come to light.

The reported wedding is a first for the Poosh founder. While she shares three children with former partner Scott Disick, they did not tie the knot amid their on-and-off relationship from 2006 to 2015.

As for Travis Barker, this marks his third marriage since 2001. He first married Melissa Kennedy in 2001 but ended up separating a year later.

The artist, then, tied the knot with Shanna Moakler in 2004. They share two children, although their marriage ended in 2008.

Barker reportedly began dating Kourtney Kardashian earlier in 2021. Months into the relationship, he proposed to her, leading to their official engagement in October.
