Brad Pitt Deems His Relationship With Ex-Girlfriend Juliette Lewis As One Of The Greatest
Pitt's equally famous ex-wives Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are no stranger to being in the limelight, a slew of the actor's girlfriends aren't very famous. Pitt's former girlfriend, Juliette Lewis opened up about the time when The Fight Club star had started dating her, while she was still a teenager and he was 27 years old.
They began dating after their 1990 film dubbed Too Young to Die was completed. Despite a ten-year-gap, they hit it off well and dated for three years. In a 1993 interview with Los Angeles Times, Lewis said that they started dating when they finished shooting for their film, admitting that she already liked Pitt and had a lot of respect for him as he was in the same field.
During this interview, Lewis said they were at the point in their relationship where they fancy seeing each other on a daily basis and aren't bored with each other, adding that it was really nice. Aside from that, she said they had opportunities to meet each other when they were working, which is why they preferred working with each other again and again.
In 2006, Lewis divulged more details about their relationship during an interview with The Guardian (via Geo News), making a shocking revelation that Pitt was no longer in her universe anymore. Describing it as a high-school relationship, she said Pitt is now more famous than he was when they dated.
She now considers Pitt as a person she shared a bit of her history with and hopes he finds happiness, adding that she genuinely loved the actor. In 2009, she said people approach her to inquire about Pitt only because he has a superstar status now.
Lewis admitted that people are keener on knowing about her relationship with the actor rather than her husband, which she says is a far more important relationship as they were married. Pitt, on the other hand, told Vanity Fair in 1995 that he regarded his relationship with Lewis as one of the greatest.
Pitt confessed that he still loved her and called her a real genius. Acknowledging that he had a great time with her, the two time Golden Globe Awards winner said it was one of the greatest relationships he has ever been in. He said the problem was that they grew up believing love conquers all, but that's not the case.
