Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian surprised the public with their “wedding” in Las Vegas earlier on Tuesday. But, a few hours later, sources said that they only did it “for fun,” noting that they have yet to get a marriage license.

TMZ broke the news, saying that the celebrity couple took advantage of being in Sin City for the Grammys. Sources alleged that they walked into One Love Wedding Chapel around 1:30 in the morning, hours after the Blink-182 drummer performed live at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards.

Kardashian and Barker did not reportedly allow the venue to take photos of the event. They instead brought their own security and photographer.

The same sources, also, told the publication that Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker had their marriage license, which they presented to the owner of the chapel.

In addition, it was allegedly important to the celebrity couple that an Elvis impersonator officiate the ceremony. Later on, in the same report, it claimed that the Las Vegas wedding will not be the only ceremony that the couple will have to mark their commitment.

More than two hours later, though, TMZ released an update about its earlier reporting of the supposed official wedding. As explained, a source close to Barker and Kardashian revealed the pair did not have a marriage license, which the chapel would need to perform the ceremony.

A separate report from TMZ had, also, noted that the two personalities had the ceremony even without a prenup. Insiders claimed that they had already started working on the document, but “nothing had been signed.”

Nevertheless, Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are allegedly planning to work on a postnup, which they will handle “without issue.”

The same outlet recalled that the Poosh founder is worth over $65 million. As for the artist, his net worth is around $50 million.

The two celebrities have yet to make any official comments about the matter. Accordingly, it remains unclear whether they, indeed, tied the knot in Las Vegas or it was only “for fun.”

The talks about the couple’s wedding have been apparent since late last year. It all comes after Travis Barker proposed to Kourtney Kardashian nearly a year after they began dating.

Alongside the discussions about their wedding, the public has, also, been talking about their plans to have a baby. It has since been confirmed that Barker and Kardashian are trying to get pregnant, as seen in the trailer of "The Kardashians."
