Kate Middleton Reportedly Hands-On When It Comes To Her Children That’s Why She Suffers From ‘Mom Guilt’
Kate Middleton is reportedly more hands-on with her children than royal fans might think.
In its April 4 issue, royal author Katie Nicholl told Closer UK that this could be one of the reasons why Middleton also suffers from mom guilt just like all the other mothers out there.
“Kate is there for morning routines and she does the school runs when she can. And she organizes playdates so the children have a very normal experience. Kate wants to be modern, she wants to be hands-on, she wants to be present. She’s all of those things, and she’s juggled that hugely important element of royal duty with looking after three children,” Nicholl said.
The royal author added that as a mom, Middleton has taken the reins and is doing the best that she can in every way. But she also knows that juggling between her multiple roles is a bit of a struggle.
Former royal butler Paul Burrell also talked about Middleton and said that she and her husband, Prince William are being trained by Queen Elizabeth right now.
“They are serving their apprenticeship to become future king and queen in the Caribbean in the same way the queen once did herself because she is getting older and it’s inevitable what will happen. The queen will be very proud of them and their duties will be more as time goes on. It’s sad for them because they have a young family, and I am sure they are going to see less and less of them,” the source said.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are already doing the best that they can to spend time with their children.
Following their tour of the Caribbean, the couple attended Prince Philip’s memorial service at Westminster Abbey on Tuesday.
And royal fans were surprised with the royal couple brought Prince George and Princess Charlotte along for the ride.
It was the royal siblings’ first time attending a public memorial service and it also showed the future of the British monarchy.
Prince George and Princess Charlotte weren’t joined by their younger sibling, Prince Louis at the memorial because he’s still too young to attend such a somber event.
But even if this is the case, the royal youngsters’ appearance showed that Prince William and Middleton are trying to spend more time with them both in public and in private.
