Hailey Baldwin recently suffered a serious health scare, and sources are saying that it could’ve been worse.

In its April 4 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Justin Bieber’s wife came close to suffering severe brain damage due to her blood clot.

On March 10, the model made headlines after it was revealed that she suffered stroke-like symptoms while having breakfast with Bieber.

She was rushed to the hospital and her doctors told her that she had a small blood clot in her brain.

Baldwin later said that her brain healed on its own, but sources are saying that Bieber was traumatized. And the model now allegedly needs to be monitored all the time.

The tabloid spoke with Dr. Stuart Fischer, an internist, who said that Baldwin’s clot consists of blood platelets and proteins forming a mini-boulder in an artery.

Fischer also claimed if Baldwin’s clot wasn’t addressed immediately, it could’ve caused speech impediments, visual impairment, and loss of bodily functions. And it’s also possible that residual brain injury already happened.

“Hopefully it didn’t. MRIs would detect it – unless it was something microscopic that vanished. Hailey’s episode is as frightening a diagnosis as exists in medicine because it was the brain,” he said.

Dr. Jerome Spunberg also weighed in by saying that it’s possible Baldwin’s clot could be related to COVID-19.

“It’s not normal for a young woman in her age group to have a problem like this,” the source said.

As for Bieber, the “Baby” singer is allegedly trying to keep his cool in front of his wife. But behind closed doors, he couldn’t be more scared. In fact, Bieber wouldn’t know what to do if something happened to Baldwin.

While it is true that the model suffered a blood clot earlier this month, there’s no proof that her condition is as serious as what the sources are saying.

Even Baldwin made it clear that she has fully recovered from her recent health scare.

It is also important to note that the doctors quoted by the tabloid have not met Baldwin so they don’t have first-hand information on what happened to the model.

As such, everything that they are saying is just based on hearsays and speculations.

For now, the most important thing is that Baldwin is doing well and that the model has Bieber by her side throughout the ordeal.
