Prince Harry and Meghan Markle allegedly dubbed Ellen DeGeneres as the neighbor from hell due to a number of reasons.

In its March 21 issue, In Touch Weekly claimed that Prince Harry and Markle believe that DeGeneres, who also lives in Montecito, has become so obsessed with them.

“She’s been driving them nuts. It’s as if she’s developed a bizarre obsession with them, calling them constantly and even turning up on their doorstep unannounced,” the source said.

The insider added that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex used to be so close to DeGeneres. In fact, the comedian was the only person that convinced Markle to appear on an entertainment show ever since she became a member of the royal family.

But things allegedly took a turn for the worse when Prince Harry and Markle noticed how clingy DeGeneres has become.

“But Ellen’s clinginess is such a turn-off now. Harry and Meghan need their space, but there’s no escaping Ellen, who’s trying to reinvent herself and believes Harry and Meghan can help her stay relevant,” the source said.

To make things worse, the source claimed that Prince Harry and Markle have not informed DeGeneres about their plans to produce and appear in their own talk show. And they believe that Portia de Rossi’s wife would be upset when she finds out.

“She may get angry and back off once she finds out or maybe she won’t care because she’s ending her own talk show. So, unless Harry and Meghan move again, they may just have to deal with Ellen always popping by unannounced to borrow a cup of sugar,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

As of late, there’s no indication that Prince Harry and Markle are turned off by DeGeneres’ clinginess. And there’s also no proof that the comedian has become clingy towards the royal couple.

It’s unclear where these dubious claims are coming from, but it’s obvious that they are published for clickbait purposes.

As of late, Prince Harry and Markle are still friends with DeGeneres. And the couple doesn’t also have any plans to produce and star in their own talk show because they have so many things on their plate.

Prince Harry and Markle already have engagements with Spotify and Netflix, and they haven’t even delivered anything. So, it wouldn’t be advisable for them to take on more projects.
