The outlet, also, said that Piers Morgan shared some of his thoughts about the actress’s “attempt to host the BAFTAs.” He told his followers that he is “cringing so violently” watching her, adding that he feared his eye sockets would explode.

Several other netizens echoed the sentiments of many individuals on the same platform. One quipped that “on behalf of Australia, I would like to apologize for Rebel Wilson’s hosting.”

Another viewer even complained about the matter on the social media platform, saying that the “Isn’t It Romantic” star is “crass, embarrassingly unfunny.” The same individual, later on, added that “there was someone better than a 2nd rate actress to front” the BAFTAs.

The International News recently released a similar report, as well, about Rebel Wilson’s jokes. But, it centered on what she said about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

As explained, the 2022 BAFTAs host made a “cheeky dig” at the former working royals, especially amid the presentation for the best picture category. She stated that “Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah had it all,” but it was not nominated for the said award.

The outlet said that the fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seemed “furious” about what Wilson had said. They reportedly “slammed” her for her words about their favorite royals.
