Meghan Markle allegedly convinced Prince Harry to cancel his book deal because she has bigger plans.

In its March 21 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Markle wants Prince Harry to prioritize her desire to run for president of the United States.

And the only way for her to make this happen is if Prince Harry would help her in his campaign.

But if the Duke of Sussex has a book deal to attend to, it’s unlikely for him to be able to help Markle with her presidential bid.

“It’s no secret among her circle that Meghan is seriously looking at running for America’s highest office one day,” the source said.

The insider added that Markle is also urging Prince Harry to familiarize himself with British history and other important information so that he could get his US citizenship.

Since the Duke of Sussex has a very busy schedule, his wife allegedly hired a tutor to help him out.

“It’s only a matter of time before Harry goes for his citizenship. So having all the U.S. history down will make that whole process even easier. Of course, the number one motivation is to be able to stand by Meghan’s side and hold up his end of the conversation. No one thinks Harry will have any issue being First Gentleman at the White House or Meghan’s sidekick in whatever ambitions she wants to pursue,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

As of late, there’s no indication that Markle has plans to run for president of the United States.

Even though she has a bit of a background in politics, Markle doesn’t have enough experience that would help her in the field.

It’s not also true that she’s urging Prince Harry to apply for his U.S. citizenship. As of late, the Duke of Sussex has not renounced his British citizenship and it’s unlikely he ever will because he still has ties to the British royal family.

And when it comes to Prince Harry’s memoir, there’s also no turning back from this. So regardless of how busy the Sussexes become or what other engagements they’ll accept, the Duke of Sussex will still release his first memoir.

In fact, the book is already being written and it’s only a matter of time before it is released.
