Jacob Elordi may have ended the latest controversy surrounding Ellen DeGeneres. He recently posted a photo of himself on Instagram, saying he loves the talk show host.

Pinkvilla reported that the image features the “Euphoria” actor on his appearance at “The Ellen Show.” Apart from saying he loves DeGeneres, he, also, tagged the celebrity host’s Instagram account and added the link of the engagement they previously had.

This seemingly put an end to the accusations about the television personality “sexualizing” Elordi during the interview. This came after the two celebrities talked about the “nude scenes” he has worked on the HBO series and other titles in the past.

Ellen DeGeneres has since received waves of backlash on various media accounts. Netizens called her out for allegedly “sexualizing” and “objectifying” Jacob Elordi, with some claiming that she made the actor feel “uncomfortable.”

The International News posted some of the comments the television show host obtained after the episode aired on small screens. As noted, many individuals deemed her “trash,” adding that the public had already known it for years.

There were reportedly other netizens who pointed out that DeGeneres “loves to make people uncomfortable.” She was said to have “purposely and objectively” made her guests feel that way “for entertainment and ratings.”

The outlet, then, recalled what exactly happened during the interview. As reported, Ellen DeGeneres seemingly “focused” on Jacob Elordi’s “naked” and “shirtless” scenes, especially on “Euphoria.”

The celebrity host first asked the “Kissing Booth” star about how he feels about these kinds of scenes. She, also, made an inquiry whether scriptwriters consult him regarding undressing “so frequently.”

Elordi responded that he had “no choice,” adding that he had already done some movies where this was the case. DeGeneres, then, replied, “because look at you, that’s why.”

Upon hearing the show host’s statements, the actor appeared speechless. He even took a sip on his drink afterward, in what reports deemed to be an “awkward manner.”

Amid all the talks, though, Ellen DeGeneres remains silent about the matter. But, this is not the first time she and “The Ellen Show” faced controversies.

The veteran celebrity host has been subjected to numerous allegations and accusations in the last few years. This has seemingly led her to end her daytime talk show, according to BuzzFeed News.

The publication said that the material had “faltered in the ratings” after a series of allegations and controversies emerged in 2020. Following the entire debacle, DeGeneres announced that the 19th season of the show will serve as the final installment.
