Meghan Markle, Prince Harry To Become 'Part-Time Royals' Under Prince Charles' Reign: Expert
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may make a return to their lives in the United Kingdom. The pair may be even reportedly interested in a “royal comeback” in the future.
Express UK said that the assertions came from royal expert Tom Quinn in his recent engagement with the “To Di For Daily” podcast. He told his audience that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex may be able to become “part-time royals” when Prince Charles ascends to the British Throne.
The expert explained that, if this happens, the Sussex Royals would likely work for the monarchy for six months. For the rest of the year, they would return to the United States “or wherever [to do] their own thing.”
Tom Quinn continued that this was something Queen Elizabeth II did not allow to happen under her reign. But, he believes that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are hoping things would change under the Prince of Wales’ ruling.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are allegedly likely intending Prince Charles to become “more of a modernizer.” The pair wish he would say, “okay, if you want to be part-time royals, that’s fine.”
In the end, Quinn contended that the youngest Wales prince has no intention of destroying the British Royal Family. He takes that the royal-born Prince “really does want to find a role” within the institution.
Following the assertions, though, some individuals slammed the idea of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry returning as part-time royals. A separate report from Express UK shared that royal expert Dickie Arbiter is one of those people who “savaged” the notion.
On Twitter, he posted that the thought of the Sussex Royals becoming working royals for half of the year is “tosh.” He added, “fly a kite and after it flutters for a while it comes crashing down.”
Several netizens reportedly echoed the expert’s sentiments, noting that it would not be “acceptable.” Others, also, emphasized how “bridges have been burned” in the last few years.
Whatever the case, though, no word has been heard from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle yet. They have not released any statement about their plans for the future.
It remains unclear, as well, whether they will fly back to the United Kingdom anytime soon. All the public knows is that they are “unable” to return due to the lack of police protection when in the country.
Meanwhile, some believe that the Duke of Sussex is not happy with his situation in the United States. A body language expert shared an analysis of his movements and expressions from his recent outing with the Duchess of Sussex.
Speaking to Express UK, Dr. Lillian Glass claimed that the royal-born Prince “does not look as happy” since his and his family’s move to the United States.
