Matthew Perry Doesn’t Allegedly Care If ‘Friends’ Cast Abandons Him Because Of His Memoir
Matthew Perry just announced the official release date of his memoir.
According to reports, Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing will be available on Nov. 1.
In his statement, Perry confirmed that his memoir will shed light on his time on Friends, his relationship with his co-stars, his personal relationships, as well as his battles with addiction.
But in its March 7 issue, OK! magazine claimed that Perry is concealing important information from his fans and even from his Friends' co-stars.
After all, he’s going to talk about Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, and everyone else in his book.
“The word is he’s going to unload on the whole crew, which has everyone in a panic. He figures it’s time to come clean not just about his own life, but also about the good, the bad, and the ugly things that happened on the Friends set,” the source said.
The insider claimed that Perry knows that there’s a possibility that Aniston and Cox would be upset. But he couldn’t care less about what they would think. After all, he’s ready, to tell the truth.
“He didn’t feel like any of them supported him, and it was a bitter reminder of how much he suffered back when they were shooting the show. But by the second season, there were very strong alliances, and Matt seemed to be the odd man out,” the source said.
But this is not all. The source also claimed that Perry will finally shed light on the rumors that Aniston and LeBlanc had an affair while the actress was still married to Brad Pitt.
“It’s been the elephant in the room. Matt’s memoir has the whole squad sweating bullets,” the source said.
However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.
Perry’s memoir would be about any of his Friends' co-stars. Instead, it would be about him, his life, and his struggles.
The actor couldn’t also make up stories in his memoir so it’s unlikely for him to shed light on Aniston and LeBlanc’s non-existent affair.
If Aniston cheated on Pitt with LeBlan, more reputable sources would’ve already reported on it. But the fact that this never made headlines proves that the tabloid is just making this story up for clickbait purposes.
It’s not also true that Perry had a falling out with his Friends' co-stars.
