Jennifer Lopez says no to boyfriend Ben Affleck when he suggests going out with George Clooney and Amal Clooney. She reportedly "refuses" to accept her partner's invite as she is not a fan of her former co-star.

A source revealed the details to Star magazine for its February 28 issue. It is, also, said that the songstress sees the "Batman" actor as a "pompous jerk."

The bad blood between Clooney and Lopez allegedly goes back to their 1998 film, "Out of Sight," adding that the two celebrities could not stand each other since then. She worked hard for her first starring role, so she did not appreciate the actor's "goofball behavior."

But, despite the reported feud, the insider claimed that Jennifer Lopez is OK with Ben Affleck working or getting along with George Clooney. If her boyfriend wants to do more projects with the latter, it is "fine," but he should not expect her to socialize with the Clooneys.

It remains unclear, however, whether the latest allegation is legitimate. The informant did not provide any evidence to substantiate the assertions.

Accordingly, this makes the story a mere rumor and speculative at best. Unless a rep or the celebrities themselves verify the statements, it will all remain questionable.

This is not the first time reports talked about the alleged bad blood between Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney. In October, there were claims about the "Monster In Law" actress skipping Ben Affleck's event due to the "Up In The Air" star, according to Express UK.

She reportedly purposely missed the premiere red carpet of "The Tender Bar" to avoid seeing Clooney. As noted, the two celebrated actors co-starred on the said flick, which Amal Clooney's husband had directed.

The source at the time, also, emphasized that "bridges need to be repaired" between the celebrities. While the publication contacted the reps of the involved stars, no response was made to clarify the matter.

The feuding rumors surrounding Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney have reportedly become common knowledge. But, it remains unconfirmed whether the two celebrities did not, indeed, get along well during their joint stint for "Out of Sight."

As per Naughty Gossip, though, Ben Affleck's now-girlfriend and pal "hated each other," and were "at war" on the set of the material. It was, also, even a "miracle" that they were able to finish the project.

Clooney allegedly hated that the actress had a "huge entourage" with her at all times, and was always late. Lopez, on the other hand, was claimed to have thought the actor was a "snob," who did not understand how to utilize photographers.
