Princess Charlotte Allegedly Surprised Queen Elizabeth With A Handmade Card On Her Platinum Jubilee
Princess Charlotte allegedly gave Queen Elizabeth the sweetest surprise to commemorate her Platinum Jubilee.
In its Feb. 21 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that the 6-year-old made a handmade card for her great-grandmother.
“The Cambridge kids are so precious, and they clearly adore their Gan-Gan. Kate and William always encourage them to send cards. This year, Charlotte went one step further and drew her pictures. Charlotte wanted to buy her a pony too. She’s horse-obsessed. But William gently told her Gan-Gan has plenty of horses,” the source said.
The insider added that Prince George wanted to bond with Queen Elizabeth at a football game. But Prince William and Middleton told their eldest son that this won’t happen because Her Majesty is already old.
So, Prince George just drew the queen pictures that she loved.
Throughout the past couple of years, there have been reports claiming that the queen has a close relationship with Prince William and Middleton’s children.
One tabloid previously claimed that the queen decided to surprise Princess Charlotte with a tiara that she would inherit when she’s 18 years old.
Another source claimed that the queen and Princess Charlotte regularly spend time with each other.
In fact, there was a time when the 6-year-old entertained the queen when she stayed with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Kensington Palace.
At the time, the queen was still mourning the death of her husband, Prince Philip.
On another occasion, the queen allegedly urged Prince William to give Princess Charlotte a royal title as soon as possible. Even though royal titles can only be inherited after Princess Charlotte becomes an adult, the monarch allegedly wants it to be done right now.
And the queen allegedly wants Princess Charlotte to inherit Princess Anne’s royal title when the time comes.
“Charlotte told Anne last year that she’s her hero. It was very sweet, and Anne, who’s usually quite brusque, was quietly chuffed. Anne offered to give her some riding lessons. She’s very impressed at the early talent Charlotte’s showing in the saddle and thinks there could be something there for her,” the source said.
But even if the queen is close to her great-grandchildren, there’s no indication that she received a handmade card from Princess Charlotte and a drawing from Prince George.
The tabloid was also unable to share photos of the card that could’ve otherwise proved their claims.
