Prince Harry and Prince William are allegedly dealing with another blow in their relationship, and this time around, it has something to do with Camilla Parker Bowles.

In its Feb. 21 issue, New Idea claimed that Prince Harry felt betrayed after learning that Prince William approved Queen Elizabeth’s request to have Camilla styled as queen consort when Prince Charles ascends the throne.

A source claimed that Prince Harry hasn’t gotten over the fact that Camilla destroyed Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage. And he also couldn’t get over the fact that Prince Charles ended up with his former mistress.

Prince William, on the other hand, felt that he didn’t have any other choice but to grant the queen’s wishes since he’s just doing what’s best for the British monarchy.

“As the future king, William had to consider what was best for the monarchy and what was best for his father. Harry, on the other hand, has always led with his heart. Harry felt Queen Camilla was a direct insult to his mother’s memory,” the source said.

The insider added that what made things worse for Prince Harry is the fact that he’s the only person from the royal family that doesn’t think it’s a good idea for Camilla to be styled as queen consort.

“Increasing, the queen, Charles, and William are all singing from the same song sheet and talking about the next moves for the monarchy. William is happy with the decision. He wants his father to be a happy king, which will make life easier for him and Kate,” the source said.

It’s not a surprise that Prince Harry is not happy with the decision. And the source claimed that he might even include Camilla’s relationship with Prince Charles in one of the chapters of his upcoming memoir.

“It’s another example of how the family rift is as bad as ever and not likely to improve soon,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. After all, the majority of their allegations are not true.

For instance, Prince William doesn’t have a say when it comes to Camilla’s future royal title. After all, the decision will be made when Prince Charles ascends the throne.

It’s not also true that Prince Harry still hasn’t gotten over Prince Charles and Camilla’s scandal. He previously said that he and his brother are especially close to their stepmom.
