Queen Elizabeth allegedly wants to take matters into her own hands to ensure that she can meet Archie and Lilibet once and for all.

In its Feb. 6 issue, Life & Style claimed that the royal family still couldn’t believe that Prince Harry would use his children to blackmail them. He previously said that he cannot go to the United Kingdom without security protection because he won’t feel safe while they’re there.

Sources later said that Prince Charles offered Clarence House to Prince Harry and his family during their visits to the United Kingdom. However, it’s unclear if the Duke of Sussex accepted his dad’s office.

Now, a source for the tabloid is saying that even the queen offered to shoulder Prince Harry’s security cost just so he could travel to the United Kingdom with his children.

“His grandmother is also willing to pay out of pocket to protect the Sussexes since they’ve made it clear she won’t be able to see them otherwise. But the queen can’t control the government’s decision-making regarding security. At nearly 96 years old, Her Majesty is worried she’ll never get to meet Lilibet or see Archie again,” the source said.

However, sources are convinced that the Sussexes can never set foot in the United Kingdom regardless of all the conveniences that they will offer them. After all, Meghan Markle is allegedly the one that has the last say when it comes to their trips.

“Meghan has no desire to return to the UK again. Her friends are saying that Meghan is trying to pull the get-out-of-jail-free card by using the security problem as an excuse to not fly to London – and she has brainwashed Harry into thinking it’s a major issue too,” the source said.

However, the source insisted that the queen has not given up. In fact, she’s even more committed now to making sure that she will see Archie and Lilibet in the coming months.

“She’s still begging Meghan, ‘Please let Harry come home for the Platinum Jubilee.’ Her desperation is clear at this point,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt.

Prince Harry did not refuse to return to the United Kingdom because of Markle. There’s also no indication that the queen offered to pay for Prince Harry’s family’s security while they are back home.
