Prince Edward and Princess Anne were reportedly the ones that told Prince Andrew that his HRH and military titles will be stripped.

In its Jan. 31 issue, Woman’s Day claimed that Prince Edward and Princess Anne went to the Royal Lodge to talk to Prince Andrew. However, they didn’t go there to offer him their love and support. Instead, they made it clear that they were there because of their duty to Queen Elizabeth.

“Both Anne and Edward have kept quiet but they have long been truly disgusted with Andrew’s blatant disregard for the consequences to the family through his arrogant and expensive behavior whether he’s found guilty or not. They were not there to lend him a supportive shoulder, but rather do their duty as siblings and give him a heads-up before making it clear that they agreed with the queen and Prince Charles’s decision,” the source said.

The insider also claimed that the only person that Prince Andrew has on his corner is his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, and their daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

However, Princess Beatrice has also allegedly been giving her dad the cold shoulder. After all, the new mom is worried that Prince Andrew’s sexual abuse lawsuit could involve her because he mentioned her name during a 2019 interview.

At the time, the Duke of York said that it’s unlikely for him to have had an encounter with Virginia Roberts Giuffre because he was with Princess Beatrice when the alleged incident took place.

And now that there’s a possibility that the case could go to trial, Princess Beatrice is worried that she could be deposed.

A source claimed that Princess Beatrice couldn’t help but panic so she recently decided to leave the United Kingdom to take a breather.

“It’s the last thing Bea wants for a variety of reasons, and she’ll do anything to distance herself or get out of having to testify. She’s planning on flying to America to secure legal counsel of her own to guide her through this confusing process. If there is any way she could get out of it, she will,” the source said.

However, one should take the tabloid’s claims with a grain of salt. Princess Beatrice didn’t distance herself from Prince Andrew.

And there’s also no proof that Prince Edward and Princess Anne broke the news to Prince Andrew about his titles.
