Kristin Cavallari Opens Up About Quarantining With Her BFF, Homeschooling And Parenting
Kristin Cavallari divulged details about the challenges she is currently facing with her sons Camden and Jaxon and daughter Saylor. Camden is 7-years old, Jaxon is 6, while Saylor is only 4 years old. Cavallari shares her three kids with her former husband Jay Cutler.
While talking to stylist Dani Michelle in an Instagram Live chat (via Us Magazine) on May 16, The Very Cavallari star opened up about living at her friend Justin Anderson's home at the moment, adding that they are quarantining together from day 1. Last month, the 33-year-old actress spent a three-week vacation with her estranged husband and Anderson in the Bahamas.
Cavallari said she has run out of creative ideas in terms of spending time with her kids. She would normally wake up at 5 am daily to work out and then get her kids ready for school before leaving for office. Things have radically changed since she started quarantining as she doesn't even set an alarm now, Hills alum revealed.
She admits returning to her previously hectic 5 a.m. lifestyle would now be challenging. Cavallari, who shares a bed with the kids is now used to starting her morning much later than before due to quarantine. She now wakes up anytime between 6:30 to 8:00 am, the 'Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County' star admitted.
While Cavallari usually refrains from allowing her kids to sleep with her in the same bed, she said she started rotating her kids since the last week. Describing these moments as cute, she noted that they will never be the same again. Looking at things from that perspective, Cavallari said she is trying to enjoy that time with her kids.
In addition to a slew of other difficult things to do, the Uncommon James designer is also handling the arduous task of homeschooling, which has been particularly hard for her youngest son. Admitting that not having school is tough, Cavallari said Jaxon doesn't listen to her and refuses to do work.
She thinks having young kids is nice. Her sons are 7 and 6 so if they refuse to do school work every day, it isn't the end of the world, the actress explained. On the downside, she said everyone is uneasy from staying in a place for a long time and the inability to go out.
Kristin Cavallari and the former NFL star announced their divorce last month after 7 years of marriage. It was later reported that they settled on a custody agreement for their 3 kids, with each parent getting 182.5 days a year.
