Kate Middleton allegedly has some strong opinions about Prince William’s hair.
In its Dec. 20 issue, National Enquirer claimed that Middleton secretly hates her husband’s hair. And she has been figuring out a way ho to tell the Duke of Cambridge.
A source claimed that when Middleton asked Prince William to do something about his balding hair, the second in line to the throne refused to take action. After all, he’s old-school and simple.
“William is a seriously stuffy, old-fashioned soul deep down, just like his dad. And he’s decided to stick with what he has and make the most of it,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that Prince William became more emotional as he got older to the point that he gets hurt when his wife and children tease him about his bald spot.
But even if this is the case, Prince William still refused to fix his hair.
“Kate has tried telling him countless times how great he looked when it was a clean all-over buzz cut. But William now thinks it’s too tacky, and the idea of weaves or a full-blown rug just fills him with panic,” the source said.
Since Prince William’s hair has become so thin, he doesn’t have anything to brush. And his head also, allegedly, gets cold in the winter.
The Duke of Cambridge is also allegedly frustrated over the fact that his hair has become much thinner than Prince Harry’s. And Middleton doesn’t want him to look much older than his actual age that’s why she wants the issue addressed.
“It’s at a point now, though, where he needs to think twice or risk his love life totally drying up,” the source concluded.
Prince William has had his thinning hair for years. So, if it was an issue to Middleton, it should’ve been an issue to her a long time ago.
There’s no indication that Middleton dislikes her husband’s hair or that she wants him to wear a toupee or to shave it off completely because it’s not really a big deal.
It’s also important to note that having thin hair is in Prince William’s genes. After all, Prince Philip and Prince Charles’ hair also became visibly thinner as they age.
Unfortunately, Prince William lost most of his hair at a much younger age. But having a huge bald spot has grown on royal fans over the years.
